My grandfather once told me a person doesn't leave their mark on the world by how much money they make or how many material possessions they have when they die. They leave their mark by how many friends they have and how many lives they have touched and changed. They leave their mark by how many people remember them and the works they leave behind.
Death comes to each of us eventually, what we quietly leave behind is what the world is going to know us for. Our deeds are what make us great, and our actions speak for themselves. They don't need to be proclaimed from the rooftops, all the little things will come to light and your loss will be felt by many. But you can be secure in the knowledge that though you maybe gone from the world, you will not be forgotten and a part of you will be left behind in the very lives of those who knew you and were touched by you.
Your kindness and generosity will live on long after you are gone. Be happy that the world is a richer and better place just because you were in it.
As always my hopes and dreams are with you,
Uncle B
